Product Description
STS Static Transfer Switch
Static transfer switch is an automatic switching system for choosing between two power sources. Under normal operating conditions, when the main power source is within the normal voltage range, the load remains connected to the main power source. In the event of a failure in the main power source, the load automatically switches to the backup power source. Once the main power source is restored to normal, the load can switch back to the main power source.
STS Static Transfer Switch Working Principle
The STS employs a break-before-make switching method, which allows for uninterrupted switching between different input power sources, providing single-power-source loads with dual-bus power supply, such as:
① n+1 redundancy for non-parallel UPS systems
② n+1 redundancy for UPS systems with different capacities
③ n+1 redundancy for UPS systems with different models

STS 4U Static Transfer Switch Performance Features:
① High and Low Voltage Protection: When the input AC voltage is too low or too high, the device will automatically switch to another power source.
② Intelligent Detection: At any given moment, if one of the mains power fails (including manual switching), the device will automatically switch to the other power source, eliminating the need for manual switching or the risk of power outage.
③ Overload Protection: When the load exceeds 100%-125% of the device’s load capacity continuously for 30 minutes, 125%-150% for 20 seconds, or 150%-300% for 2 seconds, the device will automatically shut down the output and trigger an alarm, then automatically restart after 10 seconds.
STS Intelligent Alarm Functions:
①When mains power fails, the device will automatically initiate an alarm, which will automatically mute after 90 seconds.
②When mains power exceeds the limit, the device will also automatically trigger an alarm, which will automatically mute after 90 seconds.
STS Manual Switching Functions:
① When both power sources are normal, the load can be freely switched to the other power source.
② When one of the mains power fails or exceeds the limit, the device will automatically lock both manual and automatic switching.
STS Liquid Crystal Display:
① The device features an LCD liquid crystal display to show the operating status.
② LCD Display Content: Input voltage parameters, output voltage parameters, output current parameters, and working status (normal or abnormal operation, single or dual operation).
