Prefabricated Electrical Substation, also known as the “Box Substation,” is a complete set of power distribution equipment that integrates high and low voltage switchgear and transformer in a moisture-proof, rust-proof, dust-proof, rodent-proof, anti-blocking, heat-insulating steel structure box, widely used in small distribution stations such as mines, petrochemicals, factories and enterprises, wind power arc power stations, and buildings.

1. Prefabricated Electrical Substation YB Series Product Features:

 

 

 

—Sturdy Construction:

 

Kemus YB Series features a robust frame structure with a base made from high-quality channel steel, offering high mechanical strength. The exterior is crafted from aluminum alloy plates coated with a special paint layer and features thermal insulation.

 

 

 

—Advanced Protection:

 

The exterior materials include composite panels, stainless steel composite panels, aluminum-zinc coated panels, stainless steel plates, and embossed metal panels, all selected for their excellent corrosion resistance.

 

 

 

—Safety Design:

 

Substation design includes a dedicated lifting mechanism to prevent deformation during transportation. All doors, windows, and ventilation openings are equipped with dustproof, animal-proof, and waterproof measures.

 

 

 

—Thermal Management:

 

The upper cover of the box transformer is insulated, and the transformer room and low-voltage room have dedicated exhaust channels and are equipped with an automatic exhaust system with a thermostat.

 

The transformer room uses natural ventilation and an automatically controlled forced heat dissipation air cooling device, and has an exhaust system that automatically controls as the temperature changes, which can effectively reduce the temperature inside the box, prevent the transformer from being too hot, and meet the requirements of stable operation.

A. The base of the cabinet and all internal and external metal components undergo special anti-rust treatment and are coated with a durable protective layer. Doors, windows, and ventilation openings are all equipped with dust-proof, small animal intrusion prevention, and seepage and water prevention measures.

 

B. All doors of the box-type transformer (box change) use internal hinges to open outwards, with an opening angle greater than 90°, and have a positioning device. The doors incorporate sealing measures and are fitted with handles, rain protection, blockage prevention, and anti-rust features.

 

C. The interior of the cabinet is equipped with a thermostat to prevent condensation on components. The tilt of the cabinet’s top cover is not less than 3 degrees, and it is fitted with rain protection measures.

Independent Compartments:

The substation is divided into independent high voltage, transformer, and low voltage rooms, each equipped with automatic lighting that activates with the opening of the respective doors.

 

High Voltage Room:

The high voltage room is fitted with high voltage switching equipment, offering the flexibility to choose from a variety of high voltage switchgear based on customer requirements.

 

Low Voltage Room:

The low voltage room is designed with comprehensive low voltage switchgear capabilities. It can be customized with various distribution schemes according to user demands, accommodating functionalities such as power distribution, lighting distribution, reactive power automatic compensation, and energy metering.

 

Transformer Options:

The substation can be equipped with either dry-type or oil-immersed transformers, providing options to suit different installation and operational needs.

The substation is designed with intelligent protection systems using microcomputer integrated automation devices, which is installed in a decentralized manner and can realize “four remotes”, namely telemetry, telesignaling, and remote control and remote adjustment.

 

Each unit has independent operation function and complete relay protection functions. It can set the operating parameters remotely and control the humidity and temperature in the box to meet the requirements for unattended operation.
