Overview
CDQ3s Generator ATS Working principle:
The CDQ3s series automatic transfer switch controller has two normal operating states: automatic mode and manual mode.
(1) Automatic mode: In automatic mode, the controller automatically controls the switch transfer operation based on the status of the power supply voltage and the operating conditions of the switch.
(2)Manual mode: In manual mode, the controller panel switch must be manually set to the manual position, and the handle is used to perform the switch transfer.

CDQ3s Generator ATS Two Types:
(1) Type A: The end-type controller is suitable for end-load power supply and only has the self-starting and self-recovery operating mode.
(2) Type B: The basic type is suitable for grid-to-grid power supply at the intermediate level of distribution and for end-use.

CDQ3s Generator ATS Two Types Controller Functions:
(1) Type A Controller Functions: Mainly for utility-to-utility systems, suitable for two utility power main and backup systems. When the main power supply phase is interrupted or the voltage is lost, the switch automatically switches to the backup power supply circuit; when the main power supply is restored, the switch automatically transfers the load back to the main power supply circuit.
(2) Type B Controller Functions: Mainly for utility-to-utility systems, suitable for two utility power main and backup systems. When the main power supply circuit experiences voltage loss, phase interruption, and undervoltage faults, the switch automatically switches to the backup power supply circuit (with adjustable delay); when the main power supply returns to normal, the switch automatically transfers the load back to the main power supply circuit (with adjustable delay, self-starting and self-recovery mode). The controller can also be set for non-self-recovery and mutual backup modes.
